In the words of our officiant, and Goddess Mother:
“Any ritual is an opportunity for transformation. To do a ritual, you must be willing to be transformed in some way. The inner willingness is what makes the ritual come alive and have power. If you aren’t willing to be changed by the ritual, don’t do it.”

Invocations
-
The Circle
Reciprocity, Connection, Unity
A sacred symbol of mutual exchange—representing the interconnectedness of all relationships, the natural world, and the universe itself. It embodies balance and oneness, holding the cycles of creation and destruction that shape all life. The circle is the womb of creation, the space from which all life emerges and ultimately returns. It reflects the mirror of nature, echoing the rhythms of seasons, tides, and celestial movements. It is the wheel of time, turning endlessly through birth, death, and renewal. It is the infinite loop where beginnings and endings blur, and the circle of becoming—continuously unfolds.
-
The Current
Flow, Movement, Evolution
The dynamic force of connection and change—symbolizing the flow of energy, will, and work that shapes our relationships. It is the river of becoming, carrying us through constant motion and the twists of transformation. At times, it strikes like lightning—sudden surges of clarity, energy, and inspiration that propel us forward. Beneath it all runs the pulse of the universe, a cosmic heartbeat that connects us to something greater. It reflects our obligation to open the channel for love and creativity to flow freely, allowing inspiration to move through us to become progress in the world around us.
-
The Root
Foundation, Ancestry, Grounding
The grounding tether that connects us to where we come from—anchoring us in shared histories, values, and communities. It grows from the soil of memory, enriched by the stories, lessons, and experiences of those who came before us. It honors the strength drawn from ancestry, acknowledging both trauma and triumph as part of our foundation. It carries the echo of the Earth, reminding us of our connection to the land, the cycles of life, and ancestral wisdom. It calls us to heal old wounds, grow new roots, and cultivate a legacy of resilience and love. In doing so, we become great ancestors for those who will come after us, offering them a future nourished by the wisdom of all who came before.
-
The Blossom
Growth, Expression, Flourishing
The embodiment of joyful emergence and the fullness of expression—representing the courage it takes to grow, flourish, and share oneself with the world. It reflects the petal’s surrender, the vulnerability and bravery required to open fully and be truly seen. It honors the beauty and impermanence of blossoming, recognizing the fleeting nature of each season of love. It celebrates the nectar of joy, the sweetness born from connection, creation, and the realization of love’s fullest potential. Through the dance of pollination, it acknowledges the mutual exchange that allows growth to flourish—an offering of energy, inspiration, and love that nourishes both self and community in the cycles of life.
-
The Breath
Presence, Vitality, Life Force
The essence of presence and divinity—an invitation to connect with the sacred mystery of life. Each breath is a divine inhale, drawing in the energy of creation, and an eternal exhale, a release into renewal and surrender. It moves in the sacred rhythm of the universe, mirroring the tides, the seasons, and the pulse of the cosmos. It is the song of life—an invisible melody that unites all beings in shared vitality—and a silent prayer, an unspoken invocation of gratitude, wonder, and connection to something greater than ourselves. In breath, we encounter the mystery of existence and the profound beauty of simply being.
What to Wear What to Bring
To Wear
We invite you to immerse yourself in the energy of the invocations that guide this ritual—The Circle, The Current, The Root, The Blossom, and The Breath. These invocations are invitations to embody the forces that shape connection, growth, and presence. They reflect the cycles of nature, creativity, and community, encouraging you to arrive with intention, ready to share in something meaningful and alive.
We encourage you to reflect on which of them speak most deeply to you. We ask that you dress in one or two colors that represent those invocations: Forest Green, Natural Indigo, Terracotta, Lavender, and Snow White.
Please avoid wearing more than two colors, any other colors, or black, as this will help create a harmonious and intentional atmosphere for everyone present. It will also create some stunning photographs!
Embrace attire that feels alive and expressive— something that allows you to feel grounded and radiant, comfortable enough to move freely, yet intentional enough to honor the significance of this ritual.
To Bring
Our celebration will unfold beneath the sun on a Brooklyn rooftop. To stay comfortable, we suggest bringing sunglasses, and wearing sunscreen. We will be under shade for a good portion of the Ritual, but for those that are sun sensitive, you may desire to bring a fashionable wide-brimmed hat.
A light shawl, jacket or cover-up can offer protection from both sun and breeze.
Come ready to move, breathe, and be present—this is a space for full-hearted connection, shared joy, and the beauty of simply being together.
Choosing Color(s)
The Circle (Forest Green) is for those who feel most alive in connection—those who thrive in community, nurture relationships, and embody the beauty of mutual exchange. If you’re someone who naturally brings people together, this energy may call to you.
The Current (Natural Indigo) speaks to those who are moved by change, creativity, and evolution. If you feel a pull toward growth, inspiration, and the constant flow of becoming, this invocation might feel like home.
The Root (Terracotta) grounds those who are connected to their ancestry, traditions, and foundations. If you draw strength from your history, honor the stories of those who came before you, or feel called to cultivate a meaningful legacy, this is your foundation.
The Blossom (Lavender) is for those who embrace creativity, expression, and joyful emergence. If you are drawn to vulnerability, the courage to be seen fully, and the beauty of sharing your most authentic self with the world, this energy reflects your spirit.
The Breath (Snow White) invites those who find meaning in presence, stillness, and the mystery of existence. If you are attuned to life’s quiet rhythms, moments of reflection, or the simple beauty of being, this invocation holds space for you.
